We love Catholic Schoolhouse, but it’s a skeleton. It is the backbone, but needs some meat! Every week, I put together the meat for our curriculum and, honestly, I couldn’t figure out why I was redoing my work every 3 years (helllllllooooooo!?) so I’m compiling the meat of our work here, for my own sake and your advantage!

Our family started using Catholic Schoolhouse, a classical homeschooling curriculum, 4 years ago. While we first started out in a co-op, we have since moved where there is no co-op and have been using the curriculum as a family at home.

Stay with me here and you’ll find flashcards for each quarter, quizzes, videos relating to subjects introduced and crafts that we do that are layered on top of Catholic Schoolhouse goodness.

You should know that Catholic Schoolhouse’s curriculum is designed for you to complete each week in…. a week. But, I stretch that a bit. We homeschool for a reason, right?

Sometimes, a week starts on a Wednesday and lasts 2 weeks.

Sometimes, a week starts on a Monday and lasts 1 week.

Honestly, it’s up to you, but be sure you’re done by the ned of the year or plan to do each Tour in 2 years… up to you! The most important thing is that your kids are getting deep in the material and it’s not just being grazed over. It’s good stuff!

I will add in Tours and Quarters as we do them. Be patient because it might take a while since I do it as I prep our own material. However, if you are starting Tour 1 again with me this year, stick with me every week and we’ll go though the entire year together!

Don’t forget to bookmark this page so you can refer back to it when you’re planning your week!
