I have a very active toddler. Like most toddlers, she has a hard time sitting still during Mass. That’s why we have a rotating bag full of quiet toys and books to bring to help her (and us!) get through Mass all in one piece!
Some of the things in my rotating bag include:
- a chew toy
- a toothbrush (it can keep her busy for 30 minutes, but droll gets everywhere!)
- and a board book
I hadn’t found a board book that really captured her attention until I got this book by Katie Warner: Cloud of Witnesses.
The pictures are bright, colorful, and depicting some of our family’s favorite saints with their saint quotes. Here are some examples for you to enjoy!
Now, this toddler isn’t able to read 😉 but her older siblings can and they love reading the saint quotes in this book so this little board book is really a winner for all ages.
I recommend this book as a 10/10 in the board book category for baptisms, baby showers, and 1st/ 2nd Birthdays! It’s also great for an anti addition to your Mass bag… (it worked for me!)
