Julian of Norwich was a Christian mystic and visionary. Although not recognized as a blessed or saint in the Catholic Church, her writing and theology is well-known and loved.
I was first introduced to Julian of Norwich when I decided I wanted to know more about Christ’s crucifixion and I uncovered so much more in her book Showings. So many things popped out at me as I read it, but this quote in particular I knew I had to create a printable in order for ME to print and display in my home!
Just to give you some background, Julian writes:
By contrition we are made clean, by compassion we are made ready, and by true longing for God we are made worthy. These are three means, as I understand, through which all souls come to heaven, those , that is to say, who have been sinners on earth and will be saved.
